The Louisville Medical & Education and District, or LOUMED for short, is Louisville's downtown home to four interconnected institutions: Jefferson Community & Technical College, Norton Healthcare, University of Louisville Health Sciences Center, and UofL Health. Together, LOUMED provides essential jobs, healthcare and education services for Louisville, the Commonwealth and beyond.
